BUILDING: One of the most beautiful tenement houses in the Old Town, located in the vicinity of the Old Town Square, built on the Vistula embankment at the intersection of Brzozowa and Celna streets. Carefully recreated during the post-war reconstruction of the Old Town. The interiors of the tenement house were redesigned, keeping the 16th-century foundations, main walls and cellars from the 17th and 18th centuries covered with barrel vaults. In the side elevation of the tenement house, the remaining part of the side wall of the Dung Gate from the end of the 14th century is exposed to the height of the second floor. The characteristic baroque elevation on the eastern side, connected with the gothic part of the city gate, distinguishes an old town house.
LOCATION: Despite the proximity of the Old Town Square, the apartment is bright and quiet. Located in the zone of historic old town buildings with limited traffic. In the immediate vicinity there is the Old Town Square – about 20 m, Castle Square, Barbican and the Fountains Park – 300 m, Vistula Boulevards – 400 m. Public transport stops available from Długa, Miodowa and Wisłostrada streets. Around the most popular walking areas in Warsaw, numerous restaurants, cafes and shops. Excellent communication with Śródmieście and other districts – in addition to buses and trams, convenient access to various parts of the city is also possible thanks to the Ratusz Arsenał metro station (15 minutes on foot).
